Manhattan Pied-à-Terre

New York, NY

A Pied-à-Terre overlooking treelined Fifth Avenue was remodeled to create a zen-like aesthetic for a couple. The traditional architecture of the Rosario Candela apartment was softened and updated using silk wallcoverings, Venetian plaster and textural finishes which were juxtaposed with ebonized oak floors. Bespoke furnishings in a muted palette were designed to complement the client’s contemporary artwork and views of Central Park.
